In addition a booklet has been prepared for your enjoyment.......................... ELLON PARISH CHURCH OF SCOTLAND BOOKLET
With that in mind I approached Ken and Ellie Ingram who produced the booklet for Slains to assist in this process and to be perfectly honest, they have done most of the ground work with regard to this booklet. This booklet has now been completed and it has been agreed to charge £3.00 for the publication to cover both costs and still leave money towards the refurbishment. I together with the Minister and colleagues have read the publication and are delighted with what has been produced and would like to take this opportunity to thank both Ken and Ellie for all their hard work in producing this booklet. It would be our intention to intimate the availability of where the booklet can be purchased and the date that it will be available and this will be intimated from the pulpit and within the Intimations on the Sunday. If in the meantime you would like to begin by ordering a copy of the publication, please do not hesitate to contact me. You might like to note also that Ken and Ellie have produced an updated version of the Booklet produced for Slains which we intend also to be made available at the same time and at the same cost for people who will be interested. I do not know if you will remember that a booklet was produced last year on the celebration at Slains Church. At that time I thought that it would be a good idea to produce something along the same lines for Ellon Parish Church but to make it along the lines of a Fundraiser for the Refurbishment of the Church.
