The Social Club
The Social Club meets on Mondays at 7.30 pm to play Whist or Bridge. New members always welcome.

Ellon Martial Arts
Taekwondo – We specialise in teaching authentic and effective self defence, by training our members in traditional and Olympic style Taekwondo. We have separate junior and adult classes which are fun and friendly, yet challenging.
Little Dragons – We like to start our members young. The Little Dragons classes cater for children aged 4-7 years old, who get to grips with basic martial arts skills such as: balance, co-ordination, flexibility, courtesy, turn taking and discipline. You’ll be amazed as to what the little ones can do!

Ythan Fiddlers
The Ythan Fiddlers are a registered charitable organisation, which aims to promote Scottish Traditional music, whilst raising funds for local charities. We are always looking for new players to come along and join us. Whatever age or ability, you can be sure of a welcome at the Ythan Fiddlers! Practice sessions take place in the Kirk Centre every Monday night (term time only). Juniors and beginners from 6.30 pm and Seniors from 7 pm.

Child Minding Support Group
Meet up last Tuesday of every month. Have a chat and cup of tea/coffee, discuss any problems or questions regarding childminding.

Sooyang Do Martial Art
Sooyang Do is a truly dynamic and exhilarating system of martial art which enables each participant to develop valuable self-defence skills and enhance their health and fitness levels within a very short space of time in a NON COMPETITIVE AND STRESS FREE environment. Beginners are always welcome and are constantly amazed by how quickly they develop a more positive attitude and increased levels of self confidence by following our unique programme. Scottish Country Dance Class
This class meets on Wednesday mornings in the main hall of the Kirk Centre from 10 am to 11.30 am. A little experience would be necessary as it is not a beginners’ class. Any new members would be made very welcome.

1st. Ellon Anchor Boys
Meets every Wednesday from 16:45 to 18:00 in the Kirk Centre and is open to Primary 2 and 3 boys only. Activities include games, crafts, singing, story telling, marching, worship and much more. Further information can be obtained from:-

1st. Ellon Boys Brigade Junior Section
Meets every Wednesday from 18:30 to 20:15 in the Kirk Centre and is open to Primary 4 to Primary 6 boys only. During the evening the boys learn about Boys Brigade, carrry out achievements towards badges and trophies, practice marching (which always goes down well), play games and above all have fun. Being an integral part of Ellon Parish Church, the Boys Brigade take part in several events throughout the year including Armistice Day, coffee mornings, Christmas card delivery and nor forgetting of course ushers at the Ellon Panto. These all help to make the boys feel part of the community.

Ellon Parish Church Drama Group
A lively group of all ages, who provide a pantomime in the Kirk Centre every December. With over 30 members meeting every Wednesday evening in the Kirk Centre enjoying fun, friendship and a bit of hart work. THURSDAY
Ellon and District Art Group
There are 25 of us who meet in the Upper Room in the Kirk Centre each Thursday during school terms from 10 am to 2 pm. These times are flexible, and lunch can be taken in the Coffee Shop, or on a bring-your-own basis. All painting mediums are in use at the moment. We are a self-help group, our aim is to have fun and work towards our exhibitions, our next one being planned for November 2005. At the moment we have a waiting list.

Boys Brigade
The Company and Senior Sections meets every Thursday from 19:30 to 21:30 in the Kirk Centre and is open to Primary 7 to Secondary 6 boys only. All sections of the Boys Brigade meet from September to late May and do not meet during school holidays. They work on a badge scheme appropriate to their age and also take part in fun activities including crafts, competitions, individual and team games, etc.. Further information can be obtained from:-

FRIDAY
Tot Tunes-Music Sessions for Babies and Toddlers
This group introduces music for 0 -3 years and 3-5 years in age range specific sessions of 45 minutes (throughout Friday mornings) starting at 9:45 at the Kirk Centre, Ellon. The sessions are unable to accommodate "drop in/drop out" attendance. It is strongly recommended that you contact Mairi and discuss both the sessions and place availability.

Girls Brigade
The Girls Brigade Company in Ellon is a thriving company of around 70 girls from the age of 4 upwards. We meet in the Kirk Centre on a Friday evening from September to May at the following times:-
Rosebuds (preschool age, must be 4 years old) 18:00 to 19:30
Explorers (P1-P3) 18:00 to 19:30
Juniors (P4-P7) 18:30 to 20:00
Brigaders (S1-S6) 19:30 to 21:15

Nearly New Sale
These Sales operate on the second and fourth Saturday of the month from February to November. Each Sale is from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Clothes in good condition may be handed in to the Kirk Centre on the Friday afternoon prior to the Sale.
